During our music day we focused on the song Happy by Pharell Williams. We spent time tapping out the rhythm, listening to the tempo and pitch of the song. We worked collaboratively to create our own version of the song which included an instrumental part and and improvised part.
This week we are learning about fractions. We enjoyed creating a fraction wall to help remind us of equivalent fractions. These are now displayed around our classroom.
In our science lesson this week we all took part in a class debate about whether crops should be genetically modified. There were some excellent ideas and we were impressed to hear the children back up their points of view with facts. Well done Elm class!
