Using iPads, children carried out research on historical activist. We talk about the god given qualities these people possessed and how they used these qualities in the service of others. The children reflected on ways they could incorporate such attributes in their daily life. As a class we celebrated black history month talking about past events and role models of our time. 

This week the children have been reading and interpreting time tables. In small groups they completed a timed bus station challenge. They were required to read and answer questions quickly and accurately. The children used their time knowledge to work out interval question. They had a brilliant time competing against each other
