WB13.06.22 Stay and Play - Children enjoyed the stay and play where the parents got an opportunity to spend some time with their children. They joined in several fun activities like colouring in, lego, train tracks etc.

WB13.06.22 Fathers Day celebration - Children made beautiful cards for Fathers day. It was great day for fathers and mums to come in spend time making Rockets and joining in the dance and music with their children.

WB06.06.22 On Friday we celebrated National Children’s day. All the children got an opportunity to play for extra time. They were so excited and enjoyed their playtime.

WB23.05.22 This whole week we celebrated Laudatory Si’ week, where we listened to the message given to all of us by Pope Francis about taking care of our home -planet Earth. We planted seeds in plastic botttles and discussed simple ways of taking care of our planet. The children also learnt the Canticle of the Sun and used spray paints to decorate the Sun. In the playground, children also put plants in planters, remembering the story of Gods creation.

25.05.22 Library trip- Children enjoyed their trip to the library. They listened to a story and also got a chance to choose their books.

25.05.22 May Procession- Children joined in Mary’s procession singing hymns of praise and laying flowers at her feet. A beautiful day to cherish.

Stay and Pray

Stay and pray was a wonderful way to invite our pupils in year one and their parents to come and lift their prayers up to God. A beautiful altar was set up where parent’s careers and their children placed their prayer intentions. They were welcomed with songs of worship and warm smiles. It was truly a wonderful time to be in the presence of God.

23.05.22 Stay and play - The children and parents had fun being a part of the Stay and play. Parents got a chance to join in their children’s activities in their classrooms. It was fun seeing the parents and children enjoying themselves.

18.03.22 Today we celebrated St Joseph’s day - the patron of our school. We started the day by attending mass, followed by some activities. The children made lilies and helped decorate the altar in class. We also learnt some information about St Joseph and created some stain glass art work.

WB.14.03.22 Science week - A fun filled week with lots of learning about our red planet ‘Mars’. The children attended a virtual workshop and learnt different facts about Mars. They also enjoyed making space ships to help them travel to Mars. We also conducted an experiment and launched rockets using simple household ingredients. It was great to see the children’s excitement to see the rocket launch.

WB28.02.22The children were excited to explore reading, not only with different teachers but also with their peers and children from different classes. Some loved buying their own books from the library and enjoyed taking part in dressing up day. In the afternoon the children engaged in art and craft activities such as creating sun catchers and also made bird feeders to attract birds to visit our busy town. Along with all these exciting things, it was pleasure to see parents and older siblings taking part in the Bedtime stories with the children.

24.02.22 A visit by a guest from Street Tag, a simple way of staying healthy and earning points. Do join the fun!

WB07.02.22 Children’s mental health week - We discussed importance of mental health and simple ways of keeping ourselves relaxed. The children took part in meditation, ate healthy fruits and also wrote about things they like about themselves.

04.01.22 Music Day. Children explored different aspects of music and listened to different styles of music like pop, blues and rock.

WB31.01.22 Storytelling Week. This began with a trip to the library followed by the launch assembly. Children wrote book reviews for the their Author of the moment - Enid Blyton.

WB 15.11.21 Antibullying week - We started this week watching a video on anti-bullying. The children wore odd socks and designed their own socks.

WB08.11.21 Maths week - Topic ‘Money’. children enjoyed recognising different coins buying things from the shop and making pictograms. They enjoyed a treasure hunt and counting different amounts.

WB08.11.21 Remembrance Day - Children made poppies, wrote a prayer for all the soldiers who died in the war. They also commemorated the day by wearing poppies and a minute silence.

WB 18.10.21 - Library Trip

Black History Month - In the month of October children, made musical instruments as as part of Black History Month.
