Science - Air resistance

This week, the children in Year 6 learnt about the importance of air resistance. Air resistance is a kind of friction that occurs between air and another object. It is the opposing force that the object experiences as it passes through the air. The children worked in groups to conduct an experiment, which investigated whether to surface area of an object effects the time it takes to drop to the ground.
