Week beginning 10th November 2025
For Remembrance Day, the children explored the beautiful art style of Georgia O’Keeffe. Year 2 used oil pastels to create stunning poppy-inspired artwork, learning how bold colours and shapes can express emotion and meaning. It was a thoughtful way to honour the day through creativity.
We had lots of fun wearing our colourful, mismatched socks to show that being different is something to celebrate. It was a great way to kick start Anti- bullying week. The children also took part in activities about how we can use our power for good—thinking about kindness, respect, and making positive choices every day.
This week, the children learned how to take photos using digital devices. They explored different angles and captured a variety of objects around our classroom, practising their skills and creativity.
