STEM Careers - KS2 children have had the exciting opportunity to explore different STEM careers. The children were able to speak to Engineers, Architects and Ecologists and ask questions about their jobs.
Maths Week London - This week is Maths Week London. The children at St. Joseph's will be taking part in a number of activities. Stay tuned for updates!
Year 4 AIM High Maths Workshop - The Yr4 children got an opportunity to attend a Maths workshop. They enjoyed learning and were impressed how understanding simple patterns can be used in solving many mathematical concepts
National Numeracy Day - National Numeracy Day had our number! We had a fantastic day filled with number-related activities. Children divided into groups to make their way to the top of the charts in a numeracy rapping challenge. There was a lot to take away from the Strictly dance challenge, that used numeracy to step in time. In addition to all this fun, children took part in Bobby Seagull's numbers quiz. Then, we all had to multiply our efforts to enter the National Numeracy Day competition. This involved drawing a picture of ourselves in our dream jobs an explaining how numeracy and numbers are so important for that job. All of these activities = A great time had by all.
Maths Week - This week, the children of St. Joseph’s RC Primary school took part in our annual Maths Week. This year the theme of the week was ‘Money’. The children had a range of activities related to the theme of money such as: designing a garden, creating their own shop as well as having their own treasure hunt and escape room. Well done to all of the children for all your amazing work this week.
