How will my child be involved in decisions about their learning?
The school will try to involve your child in decisions about their learning.
Teachers will talk to your child about their targets and involve them in reviewing their progress.
We will talk to the children about what and how they prefer to learn.
We will involve the children in helping teachers to plan their curriculum.
Staff and teaching assistants will record and monitor child’s viewpoint and progress.
Staff will make detailed observations of the youngest children to ensure we know them well – their interests/strengths/areas of support needed.
Pupil voice questionnaires will be carried out with older children.
We will use Pupil friendly review paperwork.
