15.10.24 The Yr 4 children had a fantastic trip to the science museum. They attended a gross, squirm-inducing show about the workings of the human digestive system. They followed the journey of food from their mouth, through the acid bath in their stomach, along metre after metre of pulsating guts and out the other end! Apart from that, they got a chance to enjoys the different sections of the museum.
4th -- 10th October Space Week --The theme for Space week was Space and Climate change. The enjoyed learning about Space and NASA. They wrote fantastic poems on Space and learnt about Katherine Howard, the great mathematician
01.10.24 Sycamore class had the most amazing learning experience at Pizza Express, Stratford. An entire morning was spent learning about great food, tasting fresh ingredients and of course, making authentic, Italian pizza.
24.09.24 - A HUGE well done to our fabulous Olive class who visited Pizza Hut to enrich their learning about their topic Food, Glorious Food! They enjoyed their experience creating and preparing their very own pizzas. The children showed great enthusiasm and excitement as they waited for their pizzas to cook. They were then thrilled to eat their own delicious pizzas. What a fabulous lunchtime! As always, the children approached the visit with interest and were a credit to the school. Well done Olive Class, we are very proud of you all!
18.09.24 National Fitness day -- On Wednesday the 18th of September we celebrated the National Fitness Day. Children were invited to choose an active way to come to school and we had a 10 minutes fitness workout on our playground before the lessons started, with teachers taking part as well. Stay Active!
16th September - 20th September National Coding week -- Children used code to create a solar system that really rocks! Have a blast learning about music, astronomy, and coding all at once! In these activities children programmed planets to make music that is out of this world. By the end they created their own musical solar system, complete with banging drums and spacey melodies.
