The school will always make sure where applicable, that children with additional needs and their families are able to take part fully in school trips, performances and social events.

• We will make reasonable adjustments to the environment, curriculum and resources to ensure inclusion.

• School will ensure equal opportunities for all children.

• Risk Assessment are carried out to include all children.

• We will ensure SEND children can take part in appropriate clubs after school.

• Parents may be asked to by class teachers to accompany their children on trips or social events.

• Where possible we will ensure additional staff are available for trips, after school clubs, swimming.

• When planning for trips, performances or social events that the needs of individual pupils are catered for, we will ensure pre-tutoring is done before and Photographs, booklets, symbols are used to support pupils prior to an event.
