We also completed challenges to earn superhero turbo points. Chestnut Class CST principle in action!
Fri 01 Mar 2024In Chestnut class, we have been learning our Catholic Social Teaching Principe- Option for the Poor. We discussed that there are many people who are less fortunate than ourselves and that if we can put other people’s needs before our own then we should try.
With this in mind, we collected food for the local group- The Source Pitstop. Mrs Allen, came in to explain what the organisation does for those who are less fortunate than us and she also gave us ideas on things that we could bring in.
After collecting a vast amount, we delivered it. All of the people at The Source were grateful and so proud of us.
