Primary Music Festival - the children to Yr 3 and Yr 4 attended a primary Music festival in Monteagle Primary school. They got an opportunity to perform different songs in front of other schools and join in the celebration of Music. Not forgetting the enjoyment on the parents face too, who enjoyed singing - Three little birds by Bob Marley.

Sir Scallywag and the Golden underpants Music Project - the children of Yr1 and Yr2 got an opportunity to take part in a brilliant music project.

Music is a universal language that embodies one of the highest forms of creativity. A high-quality music education should engage and inspire pupils to develop a love of music and their talent as musicians, and so increase their self-confidence, creativity and sense of achievement. As pupils progress, they should develop a critical engagement with music, allowing them to compose, and to listen with discrimination to the best in the musical canon.

At St Joseph's School it is our aim to promote a love of music through accessible, inspiring, practical music lessons, giving children the opportunity to perform and share. We enjoy celebrating children’s achievements in music and inspiring all children with vivid, memorable musical experiences through engagement with cultural institutions.
