IXL Year 6 Maths - A very comprehensive site listing key skills children in Year 6 should be able to do – also gives examples of a questions for each skill. If you want to join there is a fee, but a good overview of the breadth of skills and knowledge for parents to see.
BBC Bitesize Maths - A good website with clear instructions and facts to help children and parents understand topics. Each section has games, a clear explanation and a quiz at the end.
Education Quizzes (Maths) - A useful revision site using quizzes covering topics of maths from Year 3 to year 6.

BBC Bitesize English - A comprehensive guide to all things English, with step-by-step guidance.
CrickWeb - 20 Key Stage 2 Literacy interactive teaching resources for Primary/Elementary Schools.

Oxford Owl Reading at Home - A number of resources to support reading at home, including a free ebook library.
Every School - Improve your English comprehension skills with links to free to use resources.

Education Quizzes (English) - A number of online GPS based quizzes that covers all areas Year 6's need to know.
British Council - Extensive resources that allow practice, revision and testing of knowledge for all relevant grammar rules.
