02.03.23 - Year 1 Toy Making Workshop - Year 1 enjoyed an interactive and immersive toy workshop where each child created their very own toy. The session focused on beloved toys of the past and how they were constructed and played with. The day was blend of teaching with practical lessons on how to construct each toy, the children had so much fun!
24.02.23 - Whole School Art Project - The children in Years 1-6 took part in a two-day art project in school. The children used a variety of art techniques and materials to create large 3D displays for around the school based on the books that we will be focusing on in book week.On day one the children met the project leaders and had to watch and listen carefully to the different techniques they would be using in the project. The children were then split into year groups with different elements of the project to work on across the two days. The children worked with a range of materials including newspapers, tissue paper, water, cardboard glue and paint. All the children were extremely enthusiastic and produced sensational art work.
