WB 09.02.26
The last week of the half term was an extremely busy one! The children wrapped up their learning on length and perimeter, as well as their science unit on forces and magnets. It was a very practical topic in which the children has lots of investigation opportunities. They wrote fantastic non-chronological reports on crocodiles which they illustrated themselves, and delved deeper into the role of parables in Jesus' preaching for RE. Although it was a shorter week, it was rounded off with an incredible visit from Team GB gymnast, Courtney Tulloch. He gave an inspiring speech about the rewards of hard work, dedication, and, of course, a healthy diet. He wowed the children with a series of gymnastic skills, including one in which he jumped over Mr Hicklin and Mr Campbell. Cherry tree class then completed an intense, speedy circuit of activities with him to finish off the day. Well done Year 3!
