WB 26.01.26
Another jam-packed week for Year 3 this week. The children have moved onto a new topic in maths and are now learning about length and perimeter. They are using their knowledge to convert between centimetres and millimetres, and applying this knowledge to different word problems. In English, Cherry Tree Class wrote fantastic narratives about Ruskin’s confrontation with Krindlekrax, based on our text, Krindlekrax. We carried out a soil test in geography, and determined that we have clay soil in our field. In French, we learned several more animals and how to spell them using French phonics. We continued our network topic in computing and worked on creating branching databases. The week was rounded off with a lovely celebration assembly. Well done for an excellent effort Year 3!
