What a fantastic start to the Spring Term! Year 6 hit the ground running this week with an array of engaging activities across the curriculum. In Maths, students dived into the world of ratios, exploring how they represent relationships between numbers and their connection to fractions and scale drawings. The classroom turned into an Arctic expedition in English as we introduced our new core text, The Ice Bear. Students have begun researching the Inuit people in preparation for writing their own non-chronological reports. This theme extended into Art, where pupils studied famous Inuit artists and showcased their creativity by designing impressive digital collages. To wrap up a productive week, Computing sessions focused on data processing, with students mastering efficient new techniques for recording information. It has been an amazing first week back. Wwell done, Year 6!
