WB 15.09.25
What a busy week for Year 3! The children continued working hard on their place value skills and rewrote the narrative of our English focus book, Gorilla. This was their first opportunity to produce some independent writing this year and they got off to a fantastic start! We delved back into history and looked specifically at the different periods in the Stone Age, and produced some artistic interpretations of the biblical creation story. We went on a fabulous school trip to The British Library to participate in a sound lab. The children had a great time recording and layering sounds. The week was rounded off with a visit from ProStrike, during which three of the children from Cherrytree Class reached a strike speed of 61kmph! Not to mention the fantastic coding week activity we completed on teaching and training AI. Well done Cherrytree Class!
