After a restful weekend, Cherry Class returned this week full of energy and commitment to their learning. They spent the week working hard on their maths, ordering identifying and ordering numbers to 1000. In English, they planned their independent narratives, which they will begin on Monday. In history, the class examined historical sources and artefacts, discussing what we could learn about ancient civilisations from these finds, and in science, they learned about the different bones that make up the human skeleton, before completing a mini-challenge to see if they could remember where each bone is. In addition to all this learning, it was recycling week, so the children had a very interesting assembly about the different ways we can recycle in Barking and Dagenham, and the week was rounded off with a very successful coffee morning to support the McMillan Cancer Charity. Well done Year 3!
