Year 2 are exploring creativity and technology by using iPads to design vibrant Pictograms in Computing. This hands-on activity helps them develop digital skills while expressing ideas visually in a fun and interactive way!
Year 2 recently took part in an interactive road safety workshop designed to help them learn how to stay safe when walking near roads. The children explored important topics such as crossing safely, understanding traffic signals, and being aware of their surroundings. Through practical activities, discussions, and role play, pupils were able to practise key skills and ask thoughtful questions. The workshop was both informative and fun, helping our young learners build confidence and develop safe habits for everyday travel.
We have begun a new beach hut project in DT. The children created model beach huts, thinking carefully about how to make their designs sturdy and strong using different materials and construction techniques.
