It has been an action-packed week for Year 6, full of scientific discovery and secret agent missions! To celebrate Science Week, our young scientists took part in a hands-on slime-making workshop, exploring chemical reactions before taking their gloopy creations home. In Maths, we kicked off a new topic on area and perimeter, with a specific focus on mastering rectilinear shapes and triangles. Our budding authors put on their "spy hats" in Writing to design innovative gadgets, using clever persuasive strategies to pitch their products to their audience. Finally, the energy stayed high in P.E. as the children sharpened their dodgeball skills, working on team tactics and quick reflexes.
