This week, learning was dynamic across multiple subjects as our students demonstrated excellent cross-curricular skills. In Maths, students successfully applied problem-solving techniques to complete their Algebra unit focused on one and two-step equations. Their persuasive abilities were put to the test in English, where they wrote compelling letters to the Mayor of Barking, proposing solutions to local environmental issues. Science lessons were electrifying as students learned to draw and investigate electrical circuits, while our Geography exploration of Frozen Kingdoms continued with studies of the Arctic and Antarctic climates. We capped off the week in Art, where students found inspiration in the work of Inuit artist Kenojuak Ashevak as a foundation for their upcoming creative pieces.
