British Science Week
British Science Week
6th – 15th March 2026
This week we celebrated British Science Week — a nationwide celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths. This year’s theme was Curiosity, and our children fully embraced it!
To kick things off, the children enjoyed an exciting Science Week launch video, sparking their interest in the wonders of STEM. They then took part in a hands‑on slime workshop, where they created their own slime and were introduced to Newton’s Laws and the fascinating world of non‑Newtonian fluids.
The excitement continued throughout the week as pupils joined a variety of STEM webinars and workshops, learning from scientists and engineers who helped bring real‑world science to life.
Back in the classroom, curiosity truly took centre stage as the children explored different science experiments, asked thoughtful questions, and investigated how the world around them works.
It was a fun, inspiring and curiosity‑filled week—one that encouraged our young learners to think like scientists and explore with confidence!
