This week was very busy for Year 3! On Monday, we had a fantastic visit to the Natural History Museum, where we participated in a volcano and earthquake workshop and learned how to be earth scientists. We were able to see the volcano and earthquakes exhibit and even go on the earthquake simulator! This week was also British Science Week, so we had a slime workshop at school on Wednesday morning, in which the children made their own slime, and, on Thursday, we made boats and rafts out of paper, and then tested how much weight we needed to sink them. Year 3 did all of this in addition to preparing a diary entry for English, starting a new maths topic on mass and capacity, looking at the language Jesus used during the last supper in RE and writing up a case study on an earthquake that took place in central Italy for Geography. What a very busy week. Well done Year 3!
