ear 2 at St. Joseph’s joyfully took part in the Jubilee 2025 Pilgrims of Hope Celebration Day—a special moment to share hope and kindness in our community. The children began with a beautiful Mass at St. Mary & St. Ethelburga, celebrated by Father Paul, giving thanks for all we have achieved this year. Afterwards, Year 2 wrote heartfelt cards to local “Pilgrims of Hope” at Barking Foodbank, sending messages of encouragement and gratitude to those who serve others every day.

Our Year 2 pupils have been making excellent progress in their guided reading sessions! They have been working hard to develop their comprehension skills and are learning exciting new vocabulary every day. Their growing confidence in reading is shining through as they explore a variety of texts and share their understanding with enthusiasm. Well done, Year 2 - keep up the fantastic work!
