This week saw us prepare for International Space Week by taking part in a special session for STEMFest in Space where we got to hear from a NASA engineer - based in Houston, TX - about the daily workings at NASA and what training and preparation astronauts go through. In English we wrote instructions on how to safely escape a beast; this involved us acting out the process to make sure our chronological steps made sense. Our History learning led us to the ancient Kingdom of Benin. In groups, we presented the significant history of the kingdom and how eventually it was eradicated. For maths we have continued to look into the four operations and how these can help us with our reasoning problems: we have been looking into different methods that may help us find solutions.
