Week beginning 9th December 2024
Our KS1 children put on a truly wonderful Nativity performance, sharing the story of the birth of Jesus with heartfelt songs, acting, and joy. The children worked so hard to prepare, and their efforts shone brightly on stage as they reminded us of the true meaning of Christmas—celebrating the arrival of Jesus, the Light of the World. We were delighted to see so many families join us to celebrate this special occasion. Thank you for your support and well done to all the children for such a fantastic performance! πβ¨
In Computing, Year 2 have been learning the art of digital photography! The children explored how to take great photos and experimented with using effects to edit and enhance their digital images.
It’s been a fantastic opportunity to develop creativity and tech skills, and the results have been amazing! Well done, Year 2! πΈβ¨
Year 2 have been diving into the world of 3D shapes in Maths! The children have been busy identifying and counting the vertices, edges, and faces of a variety of 3D shapes. This hands-on learning has helped them build a deeper understanding of geometry and sparked curiosity about the shapes all around us. Great work, Year 2!
Our KS1 Disco was a huge hit! The children had an amazing time dancing to their favourite songs, showing off their best moves, and enjoying the lively atmosphere. It was wonderful to see so much joy, laughter, and energy on the dance floor.
