This term the Eco warriors have been very busy working on our Action points.

Being an Eco Warrior is an ideal opportunity for our pupils to get more involved in the way our school is run and help us to be more environmentally friendly. It provides opportunities for pupils to communicate their feelings as well as influence decisions that are made.

Our Eco Warriors decided that our water usage has increased recently and that we needed to do something about it.

The Eco warriors decided that the installation of 'save a flush' bags into each cistern would help to save a flush or 1-5 litres of water with each flush.

Tap caps have also been installed onto some of the taps in the school with view to change all taps in the building. Tap caps reduce water flow and save litres of water a day.

Our Warriors each have water diary which they use to keep track of water waste within their classroom so that stratergies to save water can be put in place.

- The children have been working hard to develop our prayer garden by keeping it clean and taking care of the wildlife that lives and grows there.
