It was our great pleasure to welcome Bishop Alan Williams to our school on Wednesday. He visited the children in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 and met all of the KS2 children during a special assembly. The children were given the opportunity to ask Bishop Alan lots of questions about his role as the Bishop of Brentwood. Afterwards, the children read out special prayers for Ukraine. During his tour of the school, we were very lucky that Bishop Alan was able to bless our prayer room. Our school Mini Vinnies were able to show him lots of our great learning as they walked around the school with him. Bishop Alan led the children and staff in prayer and blessed everyone at the end of the assembly. It was a wonderful occasion and one that the children of St. Joseph’s will treasure.
