Today, for World Book Day we were lucky enough to have the incredible Melissa Titre, author of My Invisible Superhero Vest visit our school. The day began with a whole school assembly where we heard all about Melissa’s journey into writing; the message and inspiration for her book followed by an energetic reading of the book. We also completed challenges to earn superhero turbo points. The rest of the day was filled with year group workshops where we identified our own superpowers and designed a character that could feature in a book! 
The message for the day was that we all have superpowers within us and we need to use our resilience to ensure we are the best that we can be.
