The children of St. Joseph's have had a wonderful week of coding and programming for this years National Coding Week. The theme this year is Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the children have been learning about how machine learning can enhance the world around us. In  Year 6, children programmed using Python (a text-based coding language) to cause the program to emit an automated response response.  Year 5 used Minecraft explore the functions of AI. Year 4 helped NASA with their coding problems, while Year 3 helped clean up our oceans by programming a bot. In KS1, Year 1 instructed a jam sandwich making robot and Year 2 had an AI dance. A breathless amount of excellent coding this week and much enjoyment had by all. Happy coding!
