World Book Day was another action packed day that begun with us all dressed as our favourite characters. 

Book Tasting:

Children in Years 3 - 6 had great fun book tasting. In pairs the children got to choose a book from the table and complete a mini review before moving onto the next table and repeating this for four delicious book courses. The children had great fun discussing books and sharing their book recommendations. 

Reading Picnic:

To continue to promote a love of reading on Thursday afternoon the whole school went outside to take part in a reading picnic. It was lovely to see all the children engrossed in their own reading book.  The children were all given a biscuit and luckily the weather stayed nice!
