Year 1 and 2 children had an exciting opportunity to engage in the LEAF 'Working on a Farm' workshop led by Farmer Dan. With enthusiasm, Farmer Sam guided us through a dairy farm, highlighting the intricacies unique to this type of farming, while also drawing comparisons to arable farming. His insights provided valuable knowledge about the diverse roles and responsibilities of a farmer. This workshop aimed to deepen our understanding of the farming profession and encouraged us to contemplate if farming might be a future career path worth exploring when we grow up.
