Year 3 have been learning lots about the area they live in, including local buildings, the local park and rivers. As a year group, they went to explore River Roding Quay. First, they looked carefully at a map of the local area and planned a route to the river. Once there, they completed a local river study where plenty of vocabulary was used. They saw a tunnel, a shipwreck, boats and ducks too!
