Year 6 Trip to Westminster Cathedral
The children of Year 6 had a wonderful opportunity to visit Westminster Cathedral. We were treated to a guided tour of the Cathedral and learned about the fascinating history of the building and the important figures associated with it. The children visited St. Joseph's chapel for a moment of quiet prayer and reflection, took in the Byzantine architecture and the symbols included with in the building, and had to view important relics that are held within the Cathedral. Year 6 were then welcomed to take part in Mass at the Cathedral as a perfect way to end a trip full of reflection and continued learning of our RE topic about vocation and commitment.
