Week beginning 27th April
This week we enjoyed using our imagination to make pizza's for a monster after reading the story 'Yum yuck'. We also read lots of mini beast stories and we have been busy observing our tadpoles and caterpillars and watching them grow and change. Our caterpillars have now spun their cocoons so we are patiently waiting for them to hatch! The children enjoyed using ten's frames to solve subtraction and addition problems, and in phonics and shared writing they are growing in confidence to write with more indpendence. Today we spent time on the school grounds looking at our blossom trees and talking about the signs of spring and summer.
