This week was a tricky week in maths, as the children navigated both analogue and digital time. They used their prior knowledge to support the new learning and are feeling much more confident after lots of practise with the clocks. Our last big write of the half term is a recount, which we are planning to produce in the form of an informal letter. The children had fun engaging with Arthur's journey across the sea in preparation for retelling the journey in a letter home to Atrix. RE was focused on the members of the early church, and the children enjoyed creating a profile of themselves as an early church member, considering the requirements needed to fulfil the role. We wrote lovely reports about pollination, complete with a diagram of a pollen covered bee, and, once again, rounded of the week with an excellent swimming session. Well done Year 3!
