Another busy week for Year 3 who kicked everything off with an outstanding performance at Sports Day. The demonstrated excellent team work and fantastic athleticism during the throwing and running events. Throughout the week, the children worked hard on their independent folktales and on their knowledge of 2d shapes and parallel lines, as well as preparing for the art exhibition next Tuesday. Thursday saw us visit the Soanes Centre for a wonderful trip into the wilded spaces in the city, where the children learned about the plants, habitats and ecosystems that exist around us in urban areas, and saw lots of playful dogs running around. As always, the busy week was rounded off with an excellent session of swimming at Abbey Leisure Centre. Well done Year 3!
