It has been a very rainy week, however, Year 3 haven't let the weather get in their way. They embarked on their new science learning on light and shadow, asking excellent questions and using their observations to draw well reasoned conclusions. In their writing, the children retold the tale of Anansi and the Impossible Quest in advance of writing their own folk tale featuring Anansi as the challenger who is tricked himself! Maths is also going strong, with the class focusing on angles, lines and measuring as part of their geometry focus in this topic. The week was rounded off with a successful water safety session at the Abbey Leisure centre. Well done Cherry Tree Class!
