The children all settled back fantastically after the half-term break and they have enjoyed a week of exploring our new topic 'On the Beach'. We read seaside stories, and made Beach collages and we are planning a trip to Chalkwell beach on Friday 3rd June!

In RE today the children learnt about the life of Jesus' disciple Peter and they made fantastic scenes from the walking on water miracle.

Next week we are looking forward to exploring World Ocean day on Monday, learning about sea creatures, and setting up a new ice cream/beach shop role play area!
