WB 01.06
The first week of Summer 2 have been busy for Year 3. We have begun a new text, an anthology of African Tales. The children have begun analysing the folktale Anansi and the Impossible quest in advance of writing their own folktale. The children have finished up their maths topic on time and began a topic on botanical art. They completed their last cricket session with Chance to Shine cricket and participated in a national workshop on saving the environment through maintaining our soil. We finished of the week with an excellent swimming session at Abbey Leisure Centre. Well done Year 3!
