Year 2 enjoyed an amazing day at the RNLI Southend-on-Sea lifeboat station. Volunteers graciously guided us through the impressive facilities and demonstrated the vital protective gear worn during rescue missions. We were fortunate to witness two of their lifeboats up close. Exploring the station, we absorbed intriguing facts about the RNLI and its critical role at sea. With the sun shining brightly, Year 2 savoured lunch on the pier, making the day even more memorable.
