Year 5 IMAX Experience at the Science Museum
Year 5 had a fantastic time at the Science Museum, where they watched a 3D IMAX film about our planet. The film had stunning visuals, and the children learned about the roles of astronauts on the ISS, the international co-operation involved, and the ongoing studies designed to further our knowledge about the universe and our place within it. The children were particularly struck by the comments of the astronauts; when they view Earth from space, they are reminded of our role as caretakers of the planet, and that we are crew members, just like they are, all with a role and responsibility to play in the future of humanity. What an incredible experience!
