Year 2 and Year 5 had an exciting visit from Sandra, a firefighter from the London Fire Brigade! She taught the children all about fire safety, including how to stay safe if a fire ever happens. Sandra explained how to safely escape, where to go once outside and who to call in an emergency (999). The children also learned a catchy rhyme to help them remember to stay safe: 'Matches and lighters, please do not touch, because it can hurt you very, very much!' The session was both fun and informative, helping everyone feel more prepared to handle fire emergencies.
