Year 2 have been developing their cutting and stitching skills in Design and Technology. The children carefully practised using different techniques before designing and creating their own unique bag tags. They showed great creativity, concentration and perseverance as they cut out their designs and stitched them together. We are very proud of their fantastic finished products and the confidence they demonstrated throughout the project.

Year 2 were proud to showcase their wonderful artwork at this week's Art Exhibition. Their display featured beautiful clay flowers, charming wooden beach huts, striking royal portraits and vibrant colour-mixing artwork.

Year 2 have been learning about Judaism and exploring the importance of kosher food in Jewish life. The children discovered which foods are considered kosher and learned about the special rules Jewish people follow when preparing and eating food. They enjoyed discussing different foods and comparing them with their own experiences, showing great curiosity and respect as they learned about another faith and culture. Well done, Year 2, for your thoughtful discussions and enthusiasm!

Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed taking part in an exciting Engineering Webinar this week. The children were highly engaged as they learned about the work of engineers and the many ways engineering helps to shape our world. The session inspired the children to think creatively and sparked their ambition to design and build their own exciting creations in the future.
