Week beginning 1st June 2026
Year 2 had an exciting trip to the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace. They took part in a fascinating guided tour, where they learned about the history and importance of the Mews in supporting royal events. The children were amazed by the magnificent state carriages, including the dazzling Gold State Coach, and enjoyed seeing the beautifully groomed horses used in royal ceremonies. After the visit, they had a brilliant time playing together at St. James’s Park Playground. It was a fun and memorable day full of learning and excitement!
This week in DT, the children have started a textiles project. They have been learning about the Cath Kidston brand and exploring the key features of her work, including colourful patterns, floral designs, and a vintage-inspired style.
