Year 2 had a fantastic Sports Day and showed wonderful enthusiasm throughout all the events. The children demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, cheering each other on and celebrating everyone’s achievements. We are so proud of their positive attitude, teamwork, and effort—it was a truly enjoyable day for all!
In DT, the children have been adding embellishments to their pouches using the technique of appliqué. They explored different fabrics and designs, carefully attaching pieces to create decorative effects. The class showed great creativity and pride in their work, developing both their sewing skills and attention to detail.
In Computing, the children have been creating algorithms using ScratchJr to achieve a specific outcome. They have explored how to sequence instructions to make characters move, animate, and respond, developing their understanding of programming. The children showed great problem-solving skills and creativity as they tested and improved their work.
