We were delighted to welcome Mr. Leonard Smith, Arsenal's goalkeeping coach, to our school. He gave an inspiring talk about the importance of working hard, staying dedicated, and believing in your dreams. The children were thrilled to take part in a penalty shootout against Arsenal's goalkeeping coach, making it a truly unforgettable and memorable experience for everyone involved.
What a brilliant day we had at St Joseph’s celebrating our wonderful Cultural Day! It was fantastic to see our children proudly representing their cultures through beautiful traditional outfits and clothing, with many wearing colours and symbols inspired by their national flags. The vibrant display of cultures from around the world highlighted the diversity, pride and unity that make our school community so special.
Year 2 have been busy developing their Design and Technology skills as part of their Pushes, Pulls, Mechanisms and Machines topic. The children investigated how slider mechanisms work before designing and creating their own moving pictures.
A huge well done to everyone who performed in our Rocksteady concert! The children impressed us all with their confidence, enthusiasm and fantastic musical talents. A special congratulations goes to Ethan O, Lionel and Nathan, our amazing Rockstars! They gave a brilliant performance, showing excellent teamwork, dedication and stage presence. We are so proud of all their hard work and the progress they have made.
