Today, Year 6 spent a day of calm and reflection at Aylesford Priory in the beautiful Kent countryside. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Father Ged - one of the Carmelite Friars who reside at the Priory. He informed us of the history of the Carmelite order and of the significance of the site at Aylesford. Year 6 then spent time in peaceful reflection in the Peace Garden; thinking about their fondest memories of primary school before they move on. Then, Year 6 took in the Rosary Walk around the lush grounds, before attending mass in the Choir Chapel. This was a fantastic opportunity to give thanks and celebrate their achievements at St. Joseph's.
