Macmillan Coffee Morning
Fri 29 Sep 2023A huge thank you for all the donations towards our Macmillan Coffee Morning! It was such a successful event and we raised £298.36 for the charity! This is an outstanding amount! Thank you so much for your continued support. An extra thank you to the Pastoral Parent Group who came to help us.

National Coding Week 2023
Wed 20 Sep 2023The children of St. Joseph's have been embarking on a mission of coding and programming for this years National Coding Week. The theme this year is Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the children have been learning about how machine learning can help others as the world becomes more automated. In Year 6, children programmed a chatbot to play and solve a guessing game, using text-based code to program the machine to learn from response. Year 5 used Minecraft to automate a robot to prevent forest fires. Also, Year 2 have used their coding skills to help beavers build their dams to prevent flooding, There are plenty more exciting coding adventures happening across the rest of the week. Happy coding!

Stay and Pray
Wed 20 Sep 2023Thank you to all the KS1 parents who attended our KS1 Stay and Pray session. It was a wonderful way for us to join in prayer and pray solemnly to our Father. We had a particular focus on Fratelli tutti, Pope Francis' third encyclical letter. This encyclical has a particular focus on working together as 'brothers and sisters'.
