Hinduism Assembly
Thu 06 Oct 2022Asmita from the Hindu Education Board came in today to do two wonderful assemblies about Hinduism for the children in EYFS and KS1 and KS2. The assembly was very insightful, and the children learnt so much about Hindu's and their faith.

Special Visitors
Thu 06 Oct 2022Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming back some of our Year 6 Leavers from the summer. They are all really enjoying their new school and loved sharing their new experiences with the children at St Joseph's. It was wonderful to see them.

Cross Country
Thu 06 Oct 2022Children from the St Joseph's athletics club competed in a LBBD cross country event. They had to run 2- 2.5km battling against a large number of other schools. Our children showed great resilience and determination to run as hard as possible to help the team score big points. There were some outstanding performances and the children did themselves proud.

Rosary Club
Wed 05 Oct 2022October is the month of the Holy Rosary. Rosary Club has now started during lunch break. The children are invited to say one or two decades of the rosary during this time. It is a wonderful time to reflect and offer our prayers to Mary.

Macmillan coffee morning
Mon 03 Oct 2022A huge thank you to all of the donations and families who came to join us for Macmillan coffee morning. We raised over £400 for the charity, an outstanding amount. Thank you so much for your continued support. An extra thank you to all of the parents who came to help us.

School Disco
Mon 03 Oct 2022On Thursday 29th September, the children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage came to our Autumn term school disco. The children all had lots of fun and danced to their favourite songs.

SSP Fitness Festival
Mon 03 Oct 2022On Friday 30th September, children from Key Stage 2, participated in the SSP Fitness Festival. The children took part in various activities such as, Karate, Healthy Eating, Bollywood Dance, Azontobox, Fit2Fite and Carnival workout... Phew!!!! Overall the children had a fantastic time showing enthusiasm and some great moves, alongside learning new skills.
